The Allied Health and Phlebotomy Program of Coconino County Community College is affiliated with the Tech Prep. This program is funded by the federal government. The Tech Prep program prepared the college students and the high school graduates for their careers in different fields. This affiliation and accredited program offers the students with a 32 credit hour certification in Phlebotomy. It prepares the graduates for the entry-level positions in Phlebotomy. The Health Enhancement Department of Phoenix College offers a Phlebotomy Certificate Program to the residents of Arizona. Prospective students can enroll either in the day classes or the night classes to earn their phlebotomy certification. The course work can be completed in one or two semesters. Even those who have taken their classes at night must complete their clinical work in day classes. Advanced techniques, specimen processing, and basic phlebotomy training are the main components of this program. Students should complete a clinical study of 80 hours at an appropriate site.
